Practice Profile
The George Harwood practice was originally formed in 1963 as a Structural Engineering practice, but over the years we have grown to provide a much broader level of service.
Our expertise has been acknowledged with awards for our work including Civic Trust Awards and Euro Nostra Awards (The Europe wide equivalent of the Civic Trust Award). We have also acted on behalf of Banks and Funding agencies by providing specialist advice by way of
pre-acquisition surveys.
Supporting our technical surveying, we have a good understanding of Town and Country planning, The Building Act and the Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas Act. In the last 10 years we have made in excess of 300 planning and listed building applications, with an excellent success rate.
